Wildlife Photography Fails at Hong Kong Conservation

Day 34

“Who are you?”

Yesterday, I went to visit the only wildlife conservation center in Hong Kong – Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden.

The weather was bad. Fortunately, there were not many visitors yesterday.

But my goal was to capture the beautiful moments of my trip. So I will share my experience and some failed photos with you guys.

Barking Deer
The small lake

To be honest, I am still learning how to make better use of my camera(Lumix GH5). I found it difficult to get the focus of the animals. Aperture is the weakenss of this camera.

The eagle will live in the cage for the rest of its life.

There is a fun fact about the eagles. If an eagle had a green band on its craw, it would be released to the wild in the future. Also, it takes an eagle 6-7 years to recover from a fracture. 😪

I can’t imagine the life as an injured eagle.

On the water surface
I sighed when I saw this photo🤦‍♀️.
The beehive
My mum suspected that I took this photo in hell😅

An hour later, I realized that I had difficulties to find the best angle for every photo. I tried to find the perfect angle for the reflection of the pond, but none of them worked out. 😅

“Hi!”
The white parrot

This white parrot was Tin Tin. When it saw me, it used its squealing voice to greet me. It was so clever. It kept yelling “bye bye” when I left the zone. 😂

Terrible Weather😂
The A mode vs the iA mode????
Glad that they didn’t hit my head.

I had a great time at this place. And the tour guide and the environment were amazing. The people and animals were extremely friendly and sincere.

I probably will revisit this place.

PS: Since I haven’t been doing a 9-5 job for a while, I start to feel like I am enjoying my retired life .😅😂🤡 Tomorrow I will share some crazy stories, including my near-death experience☠ (There will be beautiful photos)️.
